What I want to talk about here is not the Korean singer, but just a simple weather description.

Canberra has been forecasted to be raining for the following 7 days… It is good news for us because Canberra has been in drought for many years. Especially today, it rains like “dog poo” (that’s what I call it, if you speak Cantonese, just translate it and you will know what I mean). Actually there is a similar term in English, they said “rain like cats and dogs”… whatever…

Since the next 7 days will be raining, including the weekend that I have been looking forward to, I need to convince myself that the rain is good and it will not interupt what I want to do…

1. No more water restriction. The dam has been reached over 80% full! Compare to few months ago, the dam was still around 45% full… no kidding… perhaps I can try out my new bath at home!!
2. Don’t need to water the garden. Free water! Thank you God!
3. Nice rain sound = better sleeping pattern…
4. Last chance to wear your boots before summer!
5. Raining makes staying inside more attractive, for example Shopping Malls…
6. Men are easier to get satisfy, staying in with few cold beers and TV on sports…
7. Women are easier to get satisfy, staying in with your man and hot chicken and corn soup with some garlic bread…
8. Best excuse to sleep in
9. Best excuse to cook comfort food, or order home delivery…
10. Best time to “cook congee” (means talk hours on the phone)
11. No acticities outside, how about play Civilisation at home?
12. Best excuse to not attend party that I don’t want to go…
13. Leave your car outside, free wash!
14. Good time to check the quality of your new home, no water leaks??
15. Go out for long lunches during work days because you were waiting for the rain to stop

I hope the above 15 reasons will change your mind if you think raining days are not good…
