As most of you already know that I have been “heart grey”(please think Chinese) about work lately. Not that something happened to me, but happened to others that made me wonder about working style in Asia, or Macau. However I do enjoy my life in Macau in the different way. I enjoy being in my friend’s company. I have met some truly great friends here. Most of them are from different background but I found I have a lot of common with them. I am very glad to be able to be friends with them.
I have been looking after from my friends here. Just like tonight, we went out to the “happy hour” after a stressful day at work. As usual, I enjoy my wine and cigar at the pub. We chatted and bull shitting, enjoying the time without thinking anything about work. Then we decided to have stream boat, I was such a little girl (after sharing two bottle of wine with Jane, so a bottle each) wanting to eat this and that, and I don’t even need to get the food myself, all the eldest will cook the food for me and put it in my bowl. I felt I was such a spoil girl (I was the youngest at the table, even I’m almost 30
) It was nice and fun… I always know that it is hard to meet true friend after high school. I guess I’m very blessed in the friendship way. Even at work, I can meet some good friends, even we are from different background, field or even company, we get along very well. We talked about life like work, study, family, marriage and pretty much everything. We won’t get bored.
As some of you might know, I met Edith and Vernette in Macau and we just stick together, I treat them like my sisters (even I do not have sister all my life, I still think they are just like my sisters) I think it is something that I need to cherish, that won’t happen to everyone you know? I really think I’m blessed. There are many reasons that I am not ready to go back to Australia yet. This is one of them. I’m not ready to leave my great friends yet. I want to get to know them more and willing to spend my life to know them. I hope my friendships here can last a life time… I truly hope…
I love you all guys!!!!

I love food, who knows me knows it.
I now always have one snack in my house, never out of stocks. Chris hates it when I eat it… hahaha… I guess it is part of the fun also
I love this individual packing seaweed that I can buy here. Eight pieces per pack and each pieces can just fit in your mouth perfectly. It is tasty and healthy. I today bought another style of seaweed tonight, different manufacture and texture, and it has the resealable zipper. So useful! Couldn’t stop eating it, it is so additive!!
I love seaweed!!!

Cleaning house wasn’t my favorite thing to do, especially a big house. The house that I’m staying in Macao has two bedrooms, two bathrooms and it is over 1,000 sqft. It is nice to live in, but not nice when I need to clean it. I don’t mind vacuuming, but mopping can be very tiring… we don’t normally have carpet floor in Asia so mopping is very normal. I personally think mopping is much harder than vacuuming… but also a better exercise… I should do some more mopping I guess
Although I don’t like the process of cleaning, I love the smell afterwards. I know many people have weird smelling sense, some like the smelling of petrol, some like the Isopropyl Alcohol, and I love the bleach smell, like the hospital.
I love the smell of my house now, because I just clean it this afternoon… lovely

Happy Lunar Year everyone. This is my 2nd year in Hong Kong for Chinese New Year after I returned back to Asia. And it is the coldest winter that I can remember in Hong Kong. It is nice… I remembered I wore short sleeves same time last year. It was a weird feeling.
