The busiest Rent Up

28 November, 2007 in Living life 生活傳記 | Comments (0)

I have been busy since last Friday for this December rent up (preparing all the charges for Retailers before printing out the invoices)… Both of my eyes are soooo dry after staring at the screen for a whole day. Now I understand why Chris always said his eyes are sore. Thank God, I’ve got it all done today.

I don’t usually stay late at work coz I think the productivity will decline after certain hours. So I usually go home and rest before 7pm. It is difficult for me to OT (Over Time), and I stayed back till 8pm last night, I was soo hungry and if you know me well, I can’t do anything if I’m hungry, so I decided to go home. Oh well, work is always there.. it is good to live close to work place. It only took me about 5 mins to go home by cab. Home sweet home…

Sampras vs Federer

26 November, 2007 in Living life 生活傳記 | Comments (0)

I never been to tennis game before, so once I know Pete Sampras and Roger Federer are coming to Macao and play for charity show, I immediately asking people for info… So I rang up on the release day and I was on hold for one hour and a half for buying the tickets. I was sooo happy when I got it.

My parents also came to Macao for the game, it is also their first tennis game. The game was awesome, as it is the charity show, they only played for 3 sets. As Pete won the first 2 set so there is no 3rd set: 7-6; 6-4. The highest point of the game must be the tie break for first set. Although Pete has been retired for many years, he still has his move!! Good game!

I’ve took a lot of photos & video but I dunno how to put the video up here, however you can go into my facebook profit to view one of the best point!

Little Brazil in Macau

I went to the Grand Opening for the Fogo Samba tonight. They got cool Latin music and the most importantly, free drink, whatever drink you can think of! It is always good to join such event after a frustrated work day… Thank God it is Friday!!

I went there late, around 8:30pm, work has been busy just today, coz we got to do the Rent Up by next Tuesday… Anyway, went there late, people are already partying along. I quickly get my drink and say hi to the people I know, then people that I don’t know but around me… It was a huge night. We got a lot of construction Gwi Lo around and they are usually fun to chat around. Some of them also bought their other half… but I must say, most of the Gwi Lo here got a Thai, Indo or Filipino g/f or wife… and the Gwi Lo usually got “stuck” and lost their “men power” eventually… One of my colleague has been going out with this Thai girl for 5 years. Honestly he’s the most soften man I ever seen on earth. He’s gotta be either tooooooooooo nice or just tooooooooo stupid to let his girlfriend to step all over him! He’s ways tooo soft and she’s ways toooo aggressive. She hits him, throws things at him, not allowing him to talk to girls, not allowing him to go out with mates, uses all his money, make him camp at the sofa at night (She even got angry when he say hi to a girl that he knows from work on the street)… many things that I thought I only can see it in the movies…. however, it comes to life on this man. I thought I was the “Lion woman”, but hey… I’m nothing compare to her…

Today my Gwi Lo colleague was there… has to go home by 10pm, as the rule that his girlfriend has given him. However, the girlfriend’s friends were also there… (of course, the girlfriend’s friends are also Thai…) I’m about to tell you the lesson that I had tonight about girls from South East Asia (how they can hold onto Gwi Lo) I’m sorry if I’m going to offend someone here, but it is the “stereo type”, not all of them are like that.

Since the girlfriend is not with my colleague tonight at the Fogo Samba. They were teasing him… the way they tease him made me “goose bumps”… they were all over him. I mean, they were all over their girlfriend’s boyfriend. Kissing, hugging, dancing… whatever you can think of that you only do it with your boyfriend. (Come on, it is a public place that we were at, don’t think too much, okay?) They just totally flirting with him… that scene really gross me out, I immediately turn my back on them and distance myself. (As result, my colleague got a lipstick mark on his shirt, he’s gonna be big trouble tonight… We all joke that we won’t see him at work on Monday, instead, we will see the news on the paper…) I mean, men might like it very much… but… as my point of view, those women are very cheap. I won’t “licking my lips” in front of any men who is not my boyfriend. Please let me correct, I won’t do that in public at all!!!

So I think those shameless skill actually can hold those men’s heart. So my advice is, girls, don’t let your man to go to SE Asia by himself… coz you will lose him very quickly!!

Luckily, mine doesn’t like the heat, and he dislike dirty places…

Good Luck to you all…

German Beer, yumyum

The bandBeer milking!!

I went to German Beer Feast last Saturday… I’ve been to once when I was back in Australia, but never been to the Hong Kong one. The atmosphere was much better in Hong Kong…

The table setting is very tight, we all sat in long benches with long tables, facing the stage. I went with my cousin, Mandy and her friends. They made a reservation so our table was right at the front. The long benches was very useful, we sat there, stood on there, and walked on it coz there was room between benches.

The food wasn’t so great and the beer wasn’t very cold, so the show is the main reason for people to get excited… the band was well trained, they sang in Cantonese, set up games for female (bumping ballroom using your bum) and male (milking ‘beer’)… very entertaining.. :)

The best show was that all men from the band only wearing the hat, big coat and nothing inside… however has a drum cover their ‘important’ part and a sting holding a spoon between their knees… and just play the drum using the spoon.. it is hard to explain….. I actually took the video but not sure if I can post here… will try…

After the show, I took my second Ockoberfest beer mug with me and go back home by bus…

Sore weekends

I went back to HK for the last two weekends. Did something that I don’t normally do or haven’t done for a long time…

On the 11th of Nov, I went to the Peak… on foot. People normally go to the Peak by the Tram, but I walked from Central to the Peak. I went with my cousins. It was good fun but very tiring!! It took us around 45 minutes. My legs were sooo sore… However, luckily the weather was very good that day, took some good pics of HK habour.

On my way up…

On the 18th of Nov, I went to cycling… from Tai Po to Ma On Shan then back to Tai Po. It took around 3 hours in total. I haven’t ride a bike since Feb 2006 in Bright, Australia. My bum were sooo sore…

That’s why I had two sore weekends… hahaha
