Few Tsang families have left before this photo was taken, otherwise the number of people in this photo won’t be that little… well, it might not be able to fit in!!

It is great to be able to gather so many relatives in one place. My dad was very happy to able to see all his brothers and sisters, he enjoyed the night very much. He thinks that there will be no other event in the future will be able to gather that many Tsang members. This could be the last.

Well, the all Tsang gathering event before my wedding was also from a wedding, it was over 30 years ago, it was my parents’ wedding. My dad was over the moon that I could do the same as his, following his “foot-steps”. And I’m proud to be able to invite all the Tsang members, thank you Chris for working so hard.

Fong Family – from my mother side. Thank you for everyone who helped and attended. All my helpers are from this side of the family, and it is my closest. Grandma is the only grandparent I have left now, so really happy that she’s enjoying the night. Really hope that she can also enjoy Mandy’s and Natalie’s night… hehehehe… no pressure guys :)

Thank you all…

Chris and I were happily married on 16 May 2009 and enjoyed our wedding day very much. Everything is just perfect. I hope all our guests have enjoyed the date as well.

I would like to thank especially my bridal party & few important people here because without them I could be a stressful bride!

Thanks to my cousin Mandy who travelled all the way from Hong Kong to attend my wedding, and represented the most closest sisters to me. Thank you for spending your time to help & get the bridesmaids’ dress custom made in Hong Kong. They looked fabulous!  I knew you just come to Australia to attend my wedding and Chris & I didn’t have time to take you around in Sydney. We hope you enjoyed your stay and can’t wait to see you again in October this year.

Thanks to my sister-in-law Katie who has helped organised the bridal shower as well as the buck’s night for Chris! Your advice on taking a break during the wedding day is so right! I was so busy that day but I did listen to your advice & took my time and I enjoyed every minute of it!

Thanks to my best friend Carollia who had been there by my side helping and organising the bridal shower, the emergency kit and the whole lot of other things! I completely relied on and trust you because I know you will do the best job! Without you, I won’t be stress free on my wedding day!

There are few important people I want to think here, as you guys made the date perfect and I can’t do it without all of you.

Mum & Dad – I know you won’t be reading this but I can’t left you guys out! Thank you for your support, guidance, acceptance and being my parents. You two are the best parents that I ever known!

Smart Family & my new Mum & Dad – I feel so welcome to join the Smart family and I now have a lot of brothers & sisters now. Thank you for the support and kindness.

Trang & Sunny – Thank you for helping us at the back stage, and Sunny you did a good job translating! And thanks Trang for keeping an eye on my wishing well & doing other things! I trust you completely!

Dane & Jihae – Thank you for helping us at the back stage, and Dane you did a good job recording!

Tthu & Sanghee – Thank you for helping us at the back stage, and Tthu you did a good job being our MC!

Sang Young – Thank you for making my bridesmaids & mum beautiful that day.

Qian – Your photos are sooooo good!

Martyn – Thank you for marrying Chris and I, and preparing us as a couple.

Mark & Jason – Thanks for helping for being the chauffeur to take us to the venue & decorate the Audis.

Tim, John & Mollie – Thanks for being the groomsman, I will let Chris do the thanking from his side.

Dave – Thanks for doing the music, you have taken one of my worries away during the planning. You are the best, & you even got the music that I have requested! Thank you so much!

I hope I didn’t miss anyone… Thank you all and I was the happiest woman in the world that day.

Wedding Veil

10 April, 2009 in Wedding Planning (辦婚禮記) | Comments (2)

I got a wedding veil but just realise it doesn’t really go with my gown… I’m so frustrated! I have look through eBay but nothing is really there. I have spoke with my alteration lady, she said she could change the look of my veil for me…. I think I might need to go with that.

I didn’t know there are so much to learn just for the wedding veil, the different of “white” colour already gave me headache!! They have “white”; “silk white/off white”;  “Ivory”; “Ecro”; “White Glimmer”; “Diamond White Glimmer”; “Ivory Glimmer”..and then the art of the edge: “Plain”; “Pencil”; “Satin cord”; “Satin binding”; “Russia Braid Trim”; “silver cord” and blah blah blah…

I’m quite disappointed and have no one to ask opinion with!!! I need to play some computer game, those killing one, so I can let my temper out.

Invitation is out now, although I sill have some to hand deliver.. but yes, everything is sorting out according to plan.

Many people have asked me if I’m nervous as it is just over one month to go. I don’t particularly nervous but just feel like I’m running out of time and need to do something. Chris said I’m over organised.. hmmm…. I dunno…

Australian wedding Invitation

3 November, 2008 in Wedding Planning (辦婚禮記) | Comments (0)

It is so much cheaper to have the invitation printed in Hong Kong. Any style you can think of, you can find it here… I’m quite impressed! I chosed a western style one for my Australian wedding Invitation. It is purple and classic looking. I’m quite happy about it.

Chris and I are currently scratch our head off for the wordings of the invitation! I thought it would be easy to do but NO! There is so difficult to use the right words and right format… I consider that is another ‘art’ of writing…

I also have picked up my wedding shoes and it is very comfortable. Since Chris is so tall, I will need to match him with a higher heels, I hope I can stand on it for the whole day.. haha :)
